THE8 (디에잇) also known as Xu Minghao (徐明浩) is one of the 13 members of Pledis Entertainments latest boygroup "Seventeen". He was born on the 11th of November 1997 in Anshan, Liaoning. He has wanted to become a star ever since he was younger. During his childhood he was a contestant and won first place on The Children’s Material Art Competition. He actively practiced b-boying in China when he was younger. His curren hobbies are: singing, dancing, shopping and watching movies. His favorite number is 7.

THE8 has trained for about 1 year and 5 months before officialy debuting making him the last member to join the group. Within Seventeen he is part off the performance unit along side with fellow member Jun, Hoshi and Dino.
